Under the current Russian legislation all foreign visitors should be registered upon their arrival in the Russian Federation.

Failure to apply for registration is subject to administrative penalties.

Your application for a registration should be submitted to our Office within 3-5 working days after your arrival. The registration is done through the Ministry of Interior of Russia and may take from 3 to 10 working days.

If you do not intend to stay in Russia for more than one week your registration is not required.

Please note that for the registration of a business visa it is necessary to have a letter of agreement from the apartment owner. This letter should be co-signed by all dwellers registered in the apartment and notarized by DEZ. Please be sure that the apartment owner is ready to provide the required letter within 2 working days since your arrival in Russia. For the sample of the letter please click here.
